Creating an API Key
Go to Settings → API Keys and click Create API Key. Give it a descriptive name (e.g. "My Zapier Integration"). The key is shown once — copy it immediately.
⚠️ Store your API key securely. It grants full access to your TrendScribbr account via the API.
Using the API
Include the key in every request as a header:
X-API-Key: your_api_key_hereRate Limits
API requests are rate-limited per plan. Exceeding limits returns a 429 Too Many Requests response. Implement exponential backoff in your integration.
Rotating & Revoking Keys
Click Rotate to generate a new secret for a key without changing its name or permissions — useful if a key may have leaked. The old secret stops working immediately. Click Deactivate to disable a key temporarily, or Delete to permanently remove it.
