1. Definitions

Let's define what we're talking about:

• "Service" means the TrendScribbr platform, including our website, web application, AI content generation tools, and all related features.
• "We," "us," or "our" refers to TrendScribbr and its team.
• "You" or "your" refers to you, the person or company using TrendScribbr.
• "Content" means any articles, blog posts, newsletters, social media content, or other material generated through our Service.
• "GOAT Settings" refers to your brand profile configurations within the Service.
• "Trend Engine" refers to our AI-powered trend detection and monitoring system.

2. Account Registration

To use TrendScribbr, you need to create an account. When you do:

• You must provide accurate and complete information
• You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction)
• You're responsible for keeping your password secure
• You're responsible for all activity under your account
• You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access
• One person or company per account—no sharing credentials

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. Subscription & Billing

3.1 Plans & Pricing

TrendScribbr offers multiple subscription tiers (Starter, Pro, Business). Pricing and features are detailed on our pricing page. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

3.2 Free Trial

New users get a 3-day free trial. No credit card required. At the end of the trial, you can choose a paid plan or your account will revert to a free (limited) tier.

3.3 Payment & Renewal

Subscriptions auto-renew monthly or annually based on your selection. We'll charge your payment method on file. If payment fails, we'll notify you and may suspend service until payment is received.

3.4 Cancellation & Refunds

You can cancel anytime through your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period—no partial refunds for unused time. If you cancel during the free trial, you won't be charged.

4. Acceptable Use

Use TrendScribbr responsibly. You agree NOT to:

• Generate illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or hateful content
• Create content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Spam, harass, or impersonate others
• Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Service
• Use the Service for any automated or bot-driven purposes outside our official API
• Resell or redistribute generated content as a service without permission
• Generate content that violates third-party platform guidelines (e.g., Google, social media networks)

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account termination without refund.

5. Content Ownership & Rights

5.1 Your Content

You own the Content you generate through TrendScribbr, subject to payment of applicable fees. You're responsible for how you use, publish, and distribute it.

5.2 Our Technology

We own all rights to TrendScribbr's technology, including our AI models, algorithms, Trend Engine, GOAT Settings framework, user interface, and proprietary tools. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works from our technology.

5.3 Attribution & Accuracy

While our AI generates high-quality content, you're responsible for reviewing, fact-checking, and properly attributing sources before publishing. We don't guarantee 100% accuracy—always verify important claims.

5.4 Usage Data

We may collect anonymized usage data (what features you use, content types generated, etc.) to improve the Service. We won't share your specific Content without permission.

6. Privacy & Data Protection

Your privacy matters. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using TrendScribbr, you agree to our Privacy Policy.

Key points:

• We don't sell your personal data
• We use industry-standard security measures
• We comply with GDPR, CCPA, and other data protection laws
• You can request data deletion by contacting support

7. Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime, but TrendScribbr is provided "as is" and "as available." We don't guarantee uninterrupted, error-free service. Occasionally, we'll perform maintenance (we'll notify you when possible).

We're not liable for:

• Service interruptions or downtime
• Data loss (back up important content!)
• Third-party integration failures
• Content quality issues (you're responsible for final review)

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• TrendScribbr is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Our total liability to you cannot exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months
• We're not responsible for losses from your use or inability to use the Service
• Some jurisdictions don't allow liability limitations, so these may not apply to you

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify TrendScribbr from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Content you generate and publish
• Violation of these Terms
• Infringement of third-party rights

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.

11. Termination

Either party can terminate this agreement:

• You: Cancel your subscription anytime through account settings
• Us: We may suspend or terminate your account for Terms violations, non-payment, or at our discretion with reasonable notice

Upon termination, you lose access to the Service but retain Content you've already downloaded or published.

12. Governing Law & Disputes
